Sweden Becomes First Western Nation to Reject Low-fat Diet Dogma in Favor of Low-carb High-fat Nutrition !

Sweden has become the first Western nation to develop national dietary guidelines that reject the popular low-fat diet dogma in favor of  low-carb high-fat nutrition advice.

The switch in dietary advice followed the publication of a two-year study by the independent Swedish Council on Health Technology Assessment. The committee reviewed 16,000 studies published through May 31, 2013.

Check out this stunning information here.

What a great article that was !
Dr Kendrick is definitely 'da man' (other genders are available - I didn't invent the expression !)

Now, about that p.s. :

"Question: 'What do you call five hundred dieticians lying at the bottom of the ocean?’
Answer: ‘A good start.’

I could take some time off work, and maybe some of us could make a start on that ?
Or maybe just shave their heads for 'collaborating' ?

Could this be the start of a global change in diet. People are waking up to how dangerous sugar is, plus the high junk low nutrient carbs.

Yes I liked the dietitian joke, how some of them sleep at night is beyond me. Far too many push the diet of slow death for diabetics. Makes me wonder are they any use to anyone.

They are just 'obeying orders'.

Beats me how they can continue to give out harmful advice when so many must be aware of just how harmful it is.

The only one I have ever met was very much one of the good guys. I am eternally grateful to her.

I am sure that leaving diabetes care to nurses has been a life saver for many Drs too. I don't believe many of them could continue deliberately misleading patients if they deal with them on a regular and personal basis.

Its not always cowardice - sometimes its a lack of confidence, and an inability to think for themselves.
