Duggie99 aka The God of the Seas still floundering big time !

Duggie99 the big voice at the present time at DCUK knows all the answers. We know this, because the forum fonts of all knowledge Phoenix et al have said so within the last week.

"You sound as if you are having a great time and have balanced your quality of life and your diabetes." Phoenix

"Anyway well done on finding a diet that works for you" Noblehead

"I am pleased you have found a diet that works for you" Bluetit1802

"You are proof, not that it was ever needed, that there is not a "one size fits all answer to diabetes" Semiphonic

"You are proof that people should try different diets before they commit to one and not just opt for the LCHF straight away we need to experiment"  Anniec

But what is this, after three years of experimentation Duggie is still clueless ! He posts last night "So, my BS crept up for a while, peaked at 11.3 at three hours, then fell to 8.5 after 5 hours" i.e. well above the BG numbers that damage occurs. Posted here.

The questions I am asking myself, how dangerous does the information have to get before a mod intervenes ? How dangerous does the information have to be, before high carb, high med Phoenix Pharmaceuticals, does not give her seal of approval, to a member obviously with very poor diabetes control, and clearly out to lunch ? What is abundantly clear, the present mods don't know shit from shinola, or they clearly do not care what rubbish gets posted on the forum, FACT !

What say you ?

My gob is smacked. It took 5 hours for his BS to go from 11 to 8 after a high carb meal, numbers I would FREAK over and says

"I'm not terrified of any food, it would ruin my life if i was. Diabetes won't win, and it won't win by limiting my eating and limiting my life.
So, to me, that's how I want to be. I could let food rule me, I could read any study on the interent, and be scared to get out of bed.
I'm not though, to me diabetes is something I have, but it's not beating me up"

Diabetes is doing a fantastic job of beating him up.

Peaked at 11.3 bloody hell. Don't you think it a good idea if someone tells him that ain't a good number. Perraps he'll read it here Perraps one of his mates will pass on the message that 11.3 is not good. Perraps Giverny may tell him. Oh no wait she ain't diabetic and knows nought..

What a bloody pity he don't realise 6.3 is better than 11.3.

have you seen this comment!

"I think Douglas and Andrew are lucky to have a pancreas that obviously works better than yours or mine."

Its not just the reading of 11.3 its the 8.5 after five hours and thats when he's taking sitagliptin, I reckon he's abusing his pancreas and it's on the way out. The few glasses of scotch would have had a bg lowering effect too.

To think newbies are reading his thread and could end up thinking it's ok to follow his example is the worrying thing, and the admin sit back and do nothing.

Nothing would surprise me those two must miss the adulation the got from the clique, when kenny was deposed the usual idiots realising they would be on a level playing field were out in force at DCUK demanding his reinstatement.

Yes Giverny was all to quick to lock the insulin thread because she called it scaremongering ignoring the fact the outcomes were dose dependent, yet a thread giving the green light to the naive newbies many bereft of means to test that the junk dougie was eating was fine and the high BG that ensued was not a problem, by her reticence to intervene she has given her blessing to his diet.

But hey it's good for DCUK's attempts to get big pharma onboard.
